Most storage facilities will charge in fortnightly or monthly blocks. Therefore if you move out only a few days into the next month, you will be made to pay more than what it should have been. At Acrobat Storage we bill to the day. That means that when you move out, you only pay for actual time spent in storage.

Unloading into storage is a very responsible job, even more so than unloading into a house. It’s like building a 3d jigsaw puzzle where everything stays that way for a long period of time. Therefore, if everything is not put in there correctly, upon removal from your unit, you can find that your lounges and mattresses will have permanent dents and blemishes, your shiny surfaces will be scratched and your fragile items broken.Our employees are trained in the correct way to pack a storage unit which means you can be confident that everything will come out in the same condition as it went in.

We’ve found that more often than not, when a furniture removalist does storage and removals, they don’t do storage properly. They might stack all of your belongings in an open space merely covered by a tarp. This is not professional and is open to prying people and vermin. Other removalists might store your gear in a shipping container. Sounds OK, but containers are stored outside. They are often picked up and delivered with a tilt tray truck. It seems quite obvious that when a container full of furniture is tilted, the contents will shift, causing breakages. Containers also suffer the extremes of the heat and cold, which can crack and warp nice furniture over time. Containers have also been known to leak, causing water damage and mould.

The last thing that you want is to have your furniture come out of storage in a different condition than when it went in.
